A spinners dream come true! These Control Cards are for measuring your singles during spinning. I found one years ago and love it and was so excited to find these again for the shop!
They come in handy if you are trying to spin to a specific weight, and especially useful when doing a multi-ply yarn as you can lay your singles out, do the math, and figure out if you are on the right track.
I'm not gonna lie, there may have been a couple times I walked away from a bobbin, to find myself going back to spin the second bobbin and trying to eyeball what weight the first single was. This tool takes care of that.
It can also be used to measure your finished yarn weight.
