For those of you not already subscribed to our monthly fiber club, here is your chance to snatch up some of the lovely fiber from February.
Oregon Grown Perendale.
This wool is stunning! This is the first time I’ve worked with Perendale and loved it from the moment I pulled it out of the bag. When I took some of the roving home and was looking at it under a light, I gasped and fell in love even more at the stunning luster! This wool is soft enough for next to skin wear and just screams a cowl or even a sweater to me.
Perendale is a Romney and Cheviot cross breed creating a fiber will wool than typical Romney wool and with plenty of luster and shine.
The staple length of these fleeces was approximately 4 inches with micron counts of 28. There is minimal VM in this fiber, really minimal considering these were uncoated sheep!
Available in 2 natural colors; a lighter and medium gray. Please pick your color from the drop down menu.
4 oz each available in bumps, balls or loose roving. Please note if you would prefer one and I will do my best to accomodate while supplies last.
