Learn to Knit Socks. POSTPONED - Saturday April 4th. 10am - 1pm.
This class has been postponed until we can all meet up in a healthy and safe time!
I've been doing a lot of baby knitting for an expectant family member. Of course baby socks are a must and this lead me into the idea for teaching this approachable sock knitting class. They are small, adorable and all the skills you learn on a small scale transfer to following patterns for adult socks.
Prerequisites: Ability to knit and purl. Ability to knit in the round. If you have not used double point needles or magic loop technique to knit in the round, please contact me as we may need to meet up earlier that morning to get you situated!
This is a 3 hour class taught by Kim. The class may take a little longer or a little shorter depending on how long it take us to get thru the knitted portion. With any luck you will get thru your first sock and be working on the second!
Supplies needed: Dk or Light Worsted Weight yarn. Size #6 needles - either double point, circular needle for working magic loop, or two circular needles. However you like to work in the round knitting small things!
There is homework for this class that will take approximately 30 minutes depending on your knitting speed. Once you are signed up I will email you the homework!
Class cost is $35. This class is limited to 4 students. Cancellation policy for a full refund is at least one week prior to the day of the scheduled class.
