Denim blue Romney wool/alpaca/silk light worsted weight
This is our signature Romney/alpaca/silk blend yarn, this time in a very light silvery gray. Hand-dyed by Oregon indie-dyer Despondent Dyes in this beautiful denim blue. This combination is spun into a nice soft squishy 3-ply worsted weight yarn in 200 yard skeins.
Romney sheep were first brought to the United States right here in Oregon. They tolerate our climate wonderfully and put out gorgeous fleeces in a myriad of colors.
The best part is both the romney wool and alpaca were grown here in Oregon by loving shepherds! Truly Oregon grown and milled yarn.
