Have you been feeling the fiber bug? Have you seen people sitting at a wheel, spinning up yarn and wondered what its all about? Well this is the class for you! This  will get you started on learning to make yarn on a spinning wheel! The class will teach you the basics to spinning in addition to covering other important topics such as different fiber types and carding fiber. (It's ok if you don't know what that means!) No experience necessary in the fiber arts. We have wheels available for use during the class or you are encouraged to bring your wheel if you have one. Come learn to spin in a creative and fun environment, and even in a working fiber mill! Class size is limited so you will get plenty of help and attention.

Saturday October 12th, 9:30am-4:30pm, with a one hour lunch. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch (we do have a fridge). The Grassland Cafe in Halsey will be open for lunch or you can venture into Brownsville for food.
Class is being taught by Barbara Andersen of Brownsville, OR. Barbara is a wonderful teacher who has been spinning for over 30 years!
Class cost is $90. A one week cancellation before the class date is required for a full refund.
Please let us know if you will bring your own wheel or will use one of ours. Either is great!
