This is a one of a kind small batch yarn from a BFL/Shetland cross raised in Turner, OR. This fleece was dyed in the wool and I added just a little flashing for some sparkle.
This is a 2-ply fingering weight yarn. Because this was processed at a mini mill, small slubs and minimal VM (vegetable matter) may be present. While we try to keep this to a minimum, it happens as a result of animals having different qualities throughout their fleece in additiont to them living a happy life on pasture. These yarns are full of life, spring and depth which is the amazing characteristic of small batch yarns. As close to handspun as you can get. Farm to needle... OR grown and milled.
Available in 150 and 200 yard skeins - please select from the drop down menu. (Cones available upon request)
