This is an amazing light natural gray. These Jacob sheep were raised here locally in Oregon with lots of love. Jacob sheeps wool is generally not next to skin soft. While this yarn has a slight itch to it, I could definitely wear it in a scarf, hat, or gloves next to my skin or of course as outer wear. Jacob sheep are a heritage breed of various colors that lead to this beautiful shade of yarn. The sister to this yarn is a natural dark gray that is listed also with a picture of them side by side.
